HOSTING A PRIVATE DINNER EVENT
Elevate your dining experience and support contemporary African art by playing host for an evening with like-minded people.
Goal
Private dinners offer a relaxed atmosphere to share insights on modern African art and environmental matters with guests. They serve as a platform to raise awareness and funds while enjoying a delightful evening in the familiarity of your residence or selected venue.
Format
Ideal attendance is 12-20 guests over a 3 hour dinner discussion around a given topic related to art, biodiversity in a private setting (residence, private room in a restaurant, art gallery)
Intentionally curated as a professionally diverse group representing artists, conservationists, technical and financial specialists, philanthropists, art collectors, and policy makers to ensure a rich and varied informal discussion.
The hosts are responsible for introducing everyone and the topic of the evening. At the change of every course, the question can be reframed or evolved, the majority of the evening should focus on a single conversation that everyone can contribute to (with periods of smaller group discussion).
If there is a featured guest - they speak first to help set the stage and frame the topic.
