MEET THE ARTIST
At the crossroads of France, India, Guadeloupe, and Indochina, her story emerges as a meeting point of geographies shaped by personal and collective memory. Her earliest recollections mirror those of her parents and an entire generation who settled in France, reflecting both migration and the complexities of belonging. These memories also echo the experiences of their descendants, revealing the pain of interrupted cultural transmission and the challenges of identity construction. As an artist, she explores the maternal and paternal inheritances—both tangible and intangible—that have shaped her. Her work investigates spaces of incompletion and the parts of humanity that can still be renewed and re-fertilized. Through this process, she questions new ways of transmitting heritage and considers how scars, histories, and ruptures can become sources from which life and connection may emerge.
