Music Beyond is an NGO that harnesses the transformative power of music to empower communities, inspire positive social action, and cultivate peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Founded in 2014 by internationally acclaimed flutist Kaori Fujii, the organization is dedicated to fostering leadership, resilience, and hope through the universal language of music. For this symposium, Music Beyond proudly presents Yeremia Vindu, Yusubu Kasereka, and Answer Kaviti—three exceptional artists whose performances embody the organization’s mission. Through music and storytelling, they demonstrate the power of creativity to unite people, inspire change, and show how art can serve as a force for peace, connection, and transformation.
